London, September 13 – PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, is thrilled to announce a strategic esports partnership with Guild Esports, a leading professional esports organisation, co-owned by David Beckham. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, uniting two powerhouses in the worlds of sports and gaming.

The partnership will see The Guild Esports team, which has already achieved significant success in its short time as an esports organisation, competing in four major upcoming PUBG MOBILE esports tournaments :

• 2024 PMSL EMEA Fall (September 16th – October 6th 2024)

• 2024 PMGC Finals (December 6-8, 2024)

• 2025 PMSL EMEA (Spring 2025)

• 2025 PMSL EMEA (Fall 2025)

These tournaments will showcase the best of competitive gaming, bringing together top players and teams from around the globe.

Wagner CLEMENTE DA SILVA “Wagner” – Team Captain / In-Game Leader (IGL) – Wagner, an 18-year-old Italian-Brazilian talent living in France, made a remarkable debut as a fragger at the PMPL Europe at just 17. From his first official appearances, he stood out with exceptional individual performances, demonstrating great game mastery and a natural flair for combat. Recently, Wagner has taken on the role of In-Game Leader, adopting an aggressive playstyle that keeps him at the forefront while creating opportunities for his teammates. His meteoric rise was capped by an impressive 4th place in the MVP ranking at the PMSLQ, proving that he excels as both a leader and a decisive player.

Jacob FRASER-JENKINS “Jakey” – Freeman – Of Nepalese origin and living in Portugal, 19-year-old Jakey distinguished himself during his first two official experiences at the PMSLQ. Versatile and agile, he easily adapts to different in-game situations, effectively balancing offensive and defensive tasks. This ability to cover the team’s weaknesses makes him a key player for the squad.

Andrei DUMITRU “EXO” –  Fragger – Originally from Romania and living in Germany, 18-year-old EXO is already an experienced player, having started competing officially at the age of 16. He is known for his surgical precision and his ability to be decisive in every phase of the game. EXO particularly excels in complex and clutch situations, where he showcases his full talent and ability to turn the game in favor of his team.

David BAITHER “Zero” – Fragger – A 19-year-old German player living in Germany, Zero has gained solid experience through several competitions at the PMPL Europe. He also stood out with a strong performance in the latest PMSL Qualifier. Thanks to his consistency and skill as a fragger, he makes an essential contribution to his team in every match.

Yasin YIGIT “Azer” – Fragger / Freeman – A 22-year-old French player living in France, Azer has numerous official matches under his belt, including all seasons of the PMPL Europe and the last two PMSLQs. Versatile and strategically intelligent, he knows how to make the right decisions at the right time, making him a key element of the team. However, he is partially inactive due to his academic studies.

Gérard TIMMERMANS “Gege” – Fragger – A 21-year-old Belgian player living in Belgium, Gege stands out with a highly aggressive playstyle and excellent mechanical skill. His individual performances in his recent appearances at the PMPL and PMSLQ have demonstrated his full potential and his ability to decisively impact the game.
