Today, Bungie launched Act 3 of Destiny 2: Echoes, bringing to a conclusion the story of the first Echo and a confrontation with its bearer, the Conductor, as she attempts to lure the Guardian to her side. In this Act, players will journey through Nessus’ lush outskirts and battle their way to the planetary core in the new Exotic mission, Encore, rewarding the new special ammo void Exotic Auto Rifle, Choir of One.
Players will also add two new Vex-inspired weapons to their arsenal: the Solar Machine Gun Speleologist and the Void Trace Rifle Chronophage. Additionally, the beloved Martyr’s Retribution Solar Grenade Launcher returns, reprised from Season of Dawn.
Artifact mods are also updated in Act 3, with entirely new perks that focus on Auto Rifles, offering enhanced options for tackling Overload Champions, improving damage resistance, and boosting weapon damage. For more information on the new weapons, updated artifact mods, and a full recap of the story in Act 1 and 2 of Echoes, check out last week’s This Week in Destiny blog.
