Aloft Launches into Early Access on January 15, 2025

Funcom and Astrolabe Interactive announce that Aloft, the co-op sandbox survival game set in a world of floating islands, will enter Early Access on January 15, 2025. After a successful demo at Steam’s Next Fest and over 300,000 wishlists, the game is set to take off.
In Aloft, players can transform any floating island into their personal skyship, outfitting it with sails, rudders, and more. Explore vast skies, cleanse island ecosystems, and uncover the mysteries of a world suspended in the air. Play solo or team up with up to 8 players, each bringing their own skyship to a shared world.
The game will expand during Early Access with new mechanics, biomes, challenges, and items. Aloft is available for wishlist on Steam, with a free demo playable now.

Destiny 2: Revenant Act II Launches with Tomb of Elders Mode and Street Fighter™ 6 Collaboration

Destiny 2: Revenant Act II is live, introducing the new Tomb of Elders mode, where Guardians face escalating challenges in multiple arenas. Players will team up with Mithrax and Eido to stop Fikrul from raising an army of Fallen and deadly Prison of Elders enemies.
Act II also brings new Artifact perks to enhance melee and Arc builds, and the return of The Dawning celebration, featuring the new Void Linear Fusion Rifle, Mistral Lift.
In addition, the Street Fighter™ 6 collaboration is now live, with new cosmetics inspired by iconic characters like Ryu, Chun-Li, and Blanka. Guardians can enjoy new Finishers, emotes, Ghost shells, and a Blanka-inspired helmet ornament.

GIANTS Software celebrates the most successful launch in the series’ history, with Farming Simulator 25 selling 2 million copies worldwide in its first week, surpassing the previous record by over 30%. On launch day, over 125,000 players were playing simultaneously on Steam, and the number grew to 135,000 by the weekend.
With more than 40 million copies sold across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, Farming Simulator 25 continues to grow its passionate fanbase. Free content updates, patches, and expansions are planned, with the Year 1 Season Pass already offering exclusive packs and major expansions.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.1 “Crossroads” Now Live with New Content and Challenges

Square Enix has released Patch 7.1 “Crossroads” for Final Fantasy XIV Online, marking the first major update following the launch of the Dawntrail expansion. The patch continues the Warrior of Light’s journey with fresh challenges, including the Yuweyawata Field Station dungeon, the Minstrel’s Ballad: Sphene’s Burden trial, and the debut of the long-awaited Final Fantasy XI crossover alliance raid series, Echoes of Vana’diel.
The patch series will also bring more updates in the coming months, including:
- Patch 7.11 (Nov 26): The Futures Rewritten (Ultimate) 8-player raid featuring Shadowbringers™ characters.
- Patch 7.15 (Dec 17): New custom delivery NPC, Hildibrand quests, and Wachumeqimeqi quests.
- Patch 7.16 (Jan 21, 2025): Additional role quests.
The updates promise exciting new challenges and content for Final Fantasy XIV players.
