Pokémon Trading Card Game: Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown Releases Today with Debut of Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, Featuring Crystal-Themed Card Artwork
Today, The Pokémon Company International released the next expansion in the best-selling Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown. The expansion is available beginning today at participating retailers around the world, including Pokémon Center, the premier online destination for official Pokémon merchandise.
In Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown, players can immerse themselves in the Terastal phenomenon, first seen in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, with the introduction of Stellar Tera Pokémon ex to the Pokémon TCG. Each Stellar Tera Pokémon ex has a special Stellar attack with names inspired by various gemstones, which cost three different types of Energy to use. In addition, the expansion features unique illustrations highlighting the brilliant crystalline qualities of the Stellar Tera Pokémon ex.
Players can also look forward to encountering Archaludon, Hydrapple and the Legendary Pokémon Terapagos, originally discovered in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, making their official debut in the Pokémon TCG.
Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown is now available in booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes and special collections at participating retailers worldwide. Select products from the expansion are now available at Pokémon Center in the U.K., the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, including the Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, which comes with two additional booster packs and one additional illustration rare-style promo card featuring the Pokémon Center logo.
In addition, Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown is now digitally playable via the Pokémon TCG Live app for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows devices. Trainers can collect and battle with new Stellar Tera Pokémon ex, and upon login, the Scarlet & Violet—Stellar Crown Battle Pass will reward players with a new deck featuring Terapagos ex. Players can also unlock an additional premium deck featuring Galvantula ex by redeeming Crystals, earned by completing daily quests.1
